Job Summary and Description
Within the Division Marketing and Strategic Communications Department, the Digital Communications Coordinator is responsible for developing, overseeing, and optimizing digital marketing initiatives to maximize internal communications and recruitment efforts. Additionally, they will monitor and maintain division webpages and establish analytic reports of digital communications. Responsible for innovative and effective graphic art design across all division online and offline channels as well as monitoring and maintaining the division webpage and division social media strategies.
Reports to the Marketing & Strategic Employee Communications Manager.

QualificationsMinimum Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree and/or combination of related education, training and experience relating to the fields of graphic design, communication, and web.
- Advanced level of training or experience in web design, graphic arts and user experience.
- Must have a minimum of five years of experience in design, web content management systems, Search Engine Optimization (SEO), keyword tracking, data analysis, production, and project management in higher education, advertising agency or public/private sector.
- Demonstrated knowledge in Adobe Creative Suites products and related graphic and digital design software.
Preferred Education and Experience:
- High-level working knowledge of pre-press and print production using traditional and new technology, including advanced experience with layout and design, use of photos, art, and typography.
- Experience managing complex websites with a strong focus on user experience, content strategy and information architecture.
Licenses and Certifications:
- Must have a valid driver’s license and be insurable through the organization’s insurers.
Motor Vehicle Report is required in addition to background check and drug screen
