Job Summary and Description
Under the direction of the District Communications Department, the Division Marketing Content Creator will create marketing and communication content for their division in order to creatively and strategically tell the division’s story to internal and external audiences. The work will be aligned to the overall goals and brand of the Alamo Colleges District.
Reports to the Marketing and Strategic Employee Communications Manager.

QualificationsMinimum Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, public relations, communications, journalism, graphic design or a closely related field or a combination of education, training and experience that equates to the required degree.
- Three years of professional experience with writing or design, producing content on a daily basis and managing social media platforms.
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Five years of professional experience writing, producing content on a daily basis and managing various social media platforms.
- Experience in the fields of journalism and/or higher education is a plus.
Licenses and Certifications:
- Must have a valid driver license and be insurable by the Alamo Colleges District insurers.
Motor Vehicle Report is required in addition to background check and drug screen
