Outside working hours if other than M-F 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.: 7:30-4:30pm M-F

Job Summary and Description

Performs intake, assessment and referral services for veterans and their family members seeking assistance from the Good Samaritan Veterans Outreach and Transition Center (GSVOTC) service providers. Provides administrative support to GSVOTC management team and assists with the daily operation of the GSVOTC. Coordinates and provides facilities, IT, audio-visual and other support for external agency service providers.

Reports to GSVOTC Director.

Compiles weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports and maintains metrics/data and submits to Director. Purchases supplies and other items, reserves common use rooms for clients, assists with facility operations as needed.

Qualifications

Minimum Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree or a combination of relevant experience, education and training that equates to the required degree.
  • Two years of related experience.

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • Five years of related experience.
  • U.S. Armed Forces veteran.

Licenses and Certifications:

  • Must have a valid driver license and be insurable through Alamo Colleges District’s insurers.

Motor Vehicle Report is required in addition to background check and drug screen
