Job Summary and Description

Provide academic assistance to fellow students. Serves as a resource to help ACD students access services to ensure student success.

Minimum Education and Experience:

• Overall GPA of at least 2.75 and must have taken the course they are tutoring (or higher-level
  course) with a grade of “B” or better.
• Must be enrolled in at least six credit hours at one of the Alamo Colleges District colleges or
  another accredited institution of higher education.

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Experience as a tutor.
• Successful completion of 15 semester credit hours
• Preferred taken any one of the following courses: Any Astronomy (ASTR), Chemistry (CHEM), Engineering (ENGR), Geology (GEOL), or Physics (PHYS), or equivalent, with a grade of "B" or better.
