The Database Administrator is responsible for installing, maintaining, and upgrading the Alamo Colleges Districts centralized computer databases. Applies technical expertise to database administration, in accordance with the hardware and software requirements and the objectives of the Alamo Colleges District’s users/clients. Ensures availability and efficient access to data through innovative approaches to data management. Implements and maintains automated interfaces between computing systems. Provides direct support to the Enterprise Database Manager in securing and optimizing the Alamo database environment. Reports to the IT Services - Enterprise Database Manager.
