Supply Chain Analyst - Packaging
What can you expect?
- Optimization of Adient Transport Network by focusing on optimal packaging loops between Adient plants and suppliers with target of transport cost and packaging reduction
- Transport network analysis using common methods under consideration service areas (like HUB’s, etc.)
- Support program launches to meet the SCM targets regarding packaging in line with PLUS methodology and SCM strategy and objectives
- Increase plants knowledge and acceptance of SCM Packaging pool processes and standards within Adient EMEA
What will your responsibilities be?
- Identification, development, design of new routes & optimization of existing routes in Adient transport network.
- Packaging loop calculation for multiple customer/supplier relations under consideration Adient rules and plants/supplier requirements
- Monitoring of available standard packaging within Adient EMEA
- Align optimal network proposals with supervisor, affected plants, execution lead & provide network rule’s for self management to plants
- Using Adient available tools for managing complicated packaging loop’s. Permanently develop adjustment proposals for changed network environment,
- Stay contact with network contributors, service providers & Adient central departments.
- Provide best praxis solutions for recent supply chain challenges (network, packaging, logistic services)
- Create, implement and maintain ideas of supply chain improvements,
- Support & monitor packaging x-change database on internet platform to reduce packaging invest
Which qualifications are we looking for in potential employees?
- Technical and/or commercial apprenticeship: transport engineering, traffic system engineering and logistic, industrial engineer
- Min. 3 years’ experience in supply chain, preferably in automotive Industry by company with more than 50.000 employees
- Basic understanding of Adient systems and processes
- Broad based packaging & transport network knowledge, geographical knowledge
- Fundamental manufacturing/materials and logistics operations knowledge
- Good supply chain Solutions/Market/Evolutions and Adient plant knowledge
- Analytical thinking & process thinking. Understanding from global dependencies.
- Assertive, convincing in arguments.
- English – fluent, German - preferable
