- Assisting the Superintendent with the timely submittal of logs, reports, invoices, timecards, etc.
- Review of submittals, dimensions & constructability.
- Project planning and scheduling procedures with the company’s scheduling software.
- Assist the Superintendent with organization, distribution, filing and tracking of documents related to the project.
- Assist the Superintendent in planning/supervising craft activities including method of construction, efficient manpower levels, material quantities, equipment/equipment inventory, temporary facilities, work schedules, documenting man-hours.
- Adherence to company safety guidelines.
- Maintain project team relationships and assist Superintendent in mentoring new employees consistent with the “Bartlett Cocke Way.”
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Science, Engineering or any applicable degree program required.
- Previous construction experience from Internships, Co-Ops, Apprenticeships, Part-time or Full-time jobs.
- Experience working with Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) and able to operate a computer.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong planning and organizational skills.
- Valid Texas Driver’s license and meet company’s auto insurability requirements.
- Effective written and oral communication skills.
- Works well without close supervision.
