Position Overview: The Bank Product Manager is accountable for the strategy, performance, and lifecycle management of assigned banking products and solutions. This role leads the development, launch, enhancement, and optimization of products, digital capabilities, and acquisition programs that increase adoption, retention, customer value, and Bank profitability. The position manages financial and operational performance, including revenue, expense, profitability, return on assets, return on investment, growth, utilization, and risk and compliance outcomes. The Bank Product Manager uses market intelligence, customer insights, and advanced analysis to set priorities, make recommendations, and ensure assigned products remain competitive, sustainable, and aligned with the Bank’s strategic and customer experience objectives. Essential Functions: Own the strategy, roadmap, performance, and lifecycle of assigned banking products and solutions, with accountability for profit and loss, growth results, utilization, retention, customer experience, risk, and compliance outcomes. Develop business cases and product strategies that support the Bank’s objectives, including acquisition, relationship expansion, digital adoption, self-service, and operational efficiency. Lead product discovery, requirements definition, prioritization, development, testing, launch, enhancement, and change control for new and existing products, services, and digital capabilities. Analyze financial, customer, market, and operational data to identify trends, evaluate opportunities, measure results, and recommend actions; build and maintain reporting and decision-support tools using Excel, Essbase, Power BI, and other analytical platforms. Establish product performance measures, forecasts, budgets, and management reporting; monitor results and initiate corrective actions when performance, risk, service, or adoption falls below expectations. Maintain a comprehensive understanding of customer needs, industry trends, competitor capabilities, pricing, and emerging technologies to inform product positioning and investment priorities. Manage third-party relationships and product economics across the full vendor lifecycle, including selection, contracting support, performance oversight, issue resolution, and value realization. Direct go-to-market, communication, training, and adoption plans for product launches and enhancements to ensure organizational readiness and consistent customer delivery. Represent assigned products in governance and decision-making forums; present recommendations, performance results, risks, and investment needs, to appropriate audiences. Lead, coach, and develop assigned product resources and project teams, setting priorities and ensuring disciplined execution against commitments. Lead special projects and strategic initiatives as assigned in support of broader Bank objectives. This position may require travel within the Bank’s geographic area.
