Reporting to the Sr. Director, Global Revenue Growth Management, the Sr. Manager of Strategic Pricing will be integral to the creation of the Global CHG Pricing Strategy. This role will help to drive category and channel level RGM principles through the application of proactive data analytics and customer insights for all CHG product categories and sales channels (initially supporting In-Store Bakery, Frozen & Dry Grocery, McDonald’s and CHG’s Trade and Promotions.

Duties And Responsibilities
- Support the development of pricing strategies for new and existing customer pricing, optimizing for market competitiveness, margin and customer willingness to pay, aligned to CHG’s commercial strategies.
- Drive pricing strategies from concept to implementation, engage cross-functional leaders in the development and socialization of new pricing strategies, influence key stakeholders to ensure buy-in and successful implementation, and monitor key metrics for implemented strategies to gradually improve performance.
- Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Procurement, Operations and Finance teams (the Revenue Center of Excellence) to develop a deep understanding of product categories, customer segments, competitor offerings, and market trends to provide guidance and direction related to pricing and revenue growth management strategies.
- Identify opportunities for pricing and business intelligence improvement; identify areas of margin leakage and recommend improvement actions.
- Deploy value-based (customer-centric) approaches and principles into key growth areas for CHG.
- Develop operational tools and capabilities, including metrics, roadmap, key milestones, and organization cadence.
- Analyze sales data, customer data, product usage data, and financial data to uncover actionable insights and build the foundation for a shared fact database.
- Continue to drive cross-functional alignment on the shared vision and strategy for pricing.
- Partner closely with Sales to understand sales motion, elasticity, and customer feedback in our effort to build customer value, reduce unnecessary sales friction, and capture a reasonable share of that value.
- Monitor and measure strategies to evaluate growth, uncover friction, and refine strategies over time.
- Present recommendations to leadership (including executive team) to gain alignment and approval of evolving strategies.
- Some travel is required.
Education/Certifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree – Business, Finance or Marketing concentration preferred.
- MBA or post graduate work is a plus.
- Certified Pricing Professional (CPP) is an added advantage.
- 6 - 8 years Revenue Growth Management, Pricing, CPG experience in marketing and/or sales with a food manufacturing organization in the Retail/Grocery Industry.
- Prefer at least 3 years of experience in category management, market research, and/or data analytics.
- Experience with a major ERP system such as SAP, CRM system such as Salesforce and Pricing Analytics software such as PriceFX, Pros or Vendavo.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with ability to develop strong cross-functional relationships.
- Exceptional analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to turn data/information into actionable insights and recommendations.
- Must be able to persuade others to act without direct authority.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work with multiple departments, including, but not limited to Sales, Finance, Operations, Purchasing, R&D., and Information Technology.
- Proven ability to manage numerous complex projects simultaneously, often with competing deadlines, with an action bias.
- Proficient use of PC-based Microsoft applications, including Excel Pivot Tables and PowerPoint.
- Able to disseminate and present complex information in a variety of ways to facilitate decision-making.
- Ability to drive change and process improvement throughout the organization.
