This position is responsible for driving continuous improvement in Quality Management System across the organization. The role focuses on system standardization, process optimization, and the implementation of best practices to enhance data accuracy and efficiency. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential to improve data utilization and decision-making capabilities. Improvement Analyst focuses on long-term strategic enhancements. The role actively works to enhance and evolve these systems, ensuring they remain aligned with best practices and future organizational needs.

Duties and Responsibilities:

· System Standardization & Optimization:

o Facilitate integration and standardization of Quality and Food Safety systems across manufacturing plants to ensure uniformity and efficiency.

o Identify and implement system enhancements that improve automation, accuracy, and data accessibility, including improving data collecting and reporting methods to streamline and standardize the process across all facilities.

o Drive Enterprise Quality KPI dashboard data collection and trending analysis routines.

o Work closely with FSQA, IT, Marketing, R&D, and other departments to align system functionalities with business needs.

· Process Improvement & Analytics:

o Develop and deploy a Quality and Food Safety framework toolkit, including best practices, system development, and data standardization.

o Simplify and standardize Quality and Food Safety data, turning it into valuable information to enable real-time analytics and enhanced decision-making.

o Develop and analyze QA and Food Safety data to identify trends, provide insights, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

o Assist in the implementation of system upgrades and enhancements to improve efficiency and usability. Collaborate with stakeholders to develop dashboards and reporting tools for improved decision-making.

o Identify opportunities for automation and process improvements within Quality and Food Safety software.

o Develop and refine document control, specification management, and statistical process control systems to enhance data accuracy and usability.

o Collaborate with QA leadership to develop best practices for data collection, analysis, and reporting.

o Analyze trends in Quality and Food Safety data to support process improvement recommendations.

o Stay updated on software developments and ensure systems are used efficiently.

· Cultural & Engagement Initiatives:

o Develop and Improve Quality Onboarding/Training Program of QA Leaders to ensure alignment with Quality Management System (QMS) requirements.

o Develop and implement a quality and food safety culture toolkit, including onboarding, engagement initiatives, and reward/recognition programs.

o Support change management efforts related to new system implementations and upgrades.

o Work with QA Directors and Food Safety teams to ensure policies and procedures in SharePoint are up to date and effectively communicated.

· Audit & Risk Management Improvements:

o Assist Quality Assurance Managers in enhancing the effectiveness of audit corrective action processes, such as CAPA trend reports.

o Strengthen customer and supplier-based risk mitigation strategies by improving data utilization and reporting.

· Strategic Collaboration & Leadership:

o Partner with Business Intelligence teams to enhance compliance reporting and data visualization in SAP Analytics Cloud.

o Collaborate with leadership to develop long-term strategies for system improvements and digital transformation.

o Assist the QA and Food Safety Director in executing long-term strategic initiatives related to Quality Systems.

o Act as a backup for other team members when needed.

· Performs all other duties as assigned.

Minimum Job Requirements:

Education/Certifications and Experience:

· Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Biology, Chemistry, or a related field, or equivalent experience. PCQI Certificate required.

· Prior experience with Quality and Food Safety software management is preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

· Proficient use of computer, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), and related software or application.

· Proficiency in SharePoint, SAP, and other applicable Quality and Food Safety software systems preferred.

· Strong attention to detail, ability to manage data accurately, and effective cross-functional communication.

· Ability to manage complex projects including software implementations

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills

· Self- starter and can get work done accurately with minimal supervision

· Ability to effectively interact with personnel in other departments and maintain positive working relationships.

· Ability to think independently, analyze problems, and recommend solutions.

· N/A

Working Conditions and Physical Effort:

· Primarily office-based, but regular presence in the plant is required to interact with plant operations, leadership, and staff. You may be required to visit different areas of the plant to observe operations and gather data where you will be exposed to unusual elements (dirt, dust, fumes, odors, noise).

· Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

· Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.

· May require travel up to 75% during major implementations.

$70,127.00 - $124,487.00

Actual compensation may vary based on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, as well as geographic location.
