What You'll Do
As an Automotive Technician, you will be responsible for accurately diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing customer vehicles while meeting manufacturer, dealership, safety, and quality standards.
Your work will include:
- Inspect, diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicles according to manufacturer specifications, procedures, and published service information
- Use manufacturer-approved diagnostic equipment, special tools, and procedures to accurately identify vehicle concerns and determine the appropriate repair
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, electronic, network, and computerized vehicle systems
- Perform routine and manufacturer-recommended maintenance, including oil and filter changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, fluid services, and other required maintenance
- Repair or replace vehicle components as needed, including braking, steering, suspension, HVAC, electrical, engine, transmission, and related systems
- Complete thorough multipoint video vehicle inspections and identify safety, maintenance, and repair needs
- Verify completed repairs and perform appropriate quality-control checks to ensure the customer's concern has been corrected and the vehicle is safe to operate
- Accurately document diagnostic findings, cause and correction, labor time, parts, mileage, and other required information on the repair order and in the dealership management system
- Communicate promptly and professionally with Service Advisors regarding diagnostic findings, additional repair needs, parts requirements, repair status, and estimated completion times
- Follow manufacturer warranty policies, dealership repair procedures, and documentation requirements
- Maintain required manufacturer training and certifications applicable to assigned work
- Properly use and care for dealership equipment, diagnostic tools, special tools, lifts, and shop facilities
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment and protect customer vehicles throughout the repair process

Requirements
- Ability to successfully complete required background check and drug screen
- Automotive repair experience
- Manufacturer certifications and/or ASE certifications are a plus
