Role Description:

This is a full-time on-site role located in Chicago, IL for a Title Underwriter. As a Title Underwriter, you will be responsible for performing detailed and comprehensive reviews of title findings and related documents to determine the insurability and risk associated with real estate transactions. You will analyze information, research relevant data, and interpret underwriting guidelines and policies to make informed decisions. Additionally, you will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve complex title issues and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

• Strong understanding of title insurance principles, underwriting procedures, and regulatory requirements
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Proficiency in using title search software and related tools
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
