Job Summary

Under general supervision, is responsible for building, testing, implementing, and supporting IT infrastructure in the cloud and on premise, while executing strategy set by Architects. Assignments are complex and/or have system-wide impact, integrate across the enterprise, and involve multiple technical environments, platforms, and disciplines. typically spans the server platforms, storage systems, middleware infrastructure, enterprise resource Planning, and client technologies. Exercises technical supervision over assigned staff.

7:45 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., Monday - Friday

Essential Job Functions

  • Designs and develops internal and external interface compatibility of multiple enterprise systems and their associated subsystems.
  • Performs scripting by using a tool or combination of tools to automate a task or a series of tasks.
  • Develops and evaluates Service Level Agreements or Operational Level Agreements.
  • Leads the development of new or modified infrastructure solutions, rest activities/results, installation instructions and other areas such as error handling.
  • Collaborates with developers and is responsible for IT operations.
  • Designs and implements governance for role-based access control, cost containment, and cloud provider account management.
  • Uses technology to implement automation and orchestration across multiple enterprise systems.
  • Indirectly leads the day-to-day tasks and coaching of other engineers.
  • Verifies stability, interoperability, portability, security, or scalability of system architecture.
  • Validates and analyzes key metrics and performance indicators created across multiple enterprise systems.
  • Performs related duties and fulfills responsibilities as required.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university
  • Six (6) years of work experience in Systems Administration, Networking, DBA, DBMS design and support, and/or PC Support roles.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Ten (10+) years as a Senior Basis Administrator.
  • Experience with installing and maintaining BSI Tax Factory.
  • Installed and configured a minimum of 10 instances of SAP products to include, as a minimum
  • ECC, SRM, Fiori, Solution Manager, BW, and Netweaver for Java (portals).
  • Experience with ABAP Debugging.
  • Experience patching ABAP and JAVA instances.
  • Experience conducting system refreshes for ABAP and JAVA instances.
  • Experience in analyzing and troubleshooting system issues across entire SAP platform to include pinpointing and determining network related issues.
  • Strong skills in Unix shell scripting.
  • Strong SQL skills.Strong skills in monitoring and fine-tuning system performance for ABAP and JAVA instances.
