Job Purpose:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Summer Intern to join our MEP team. This internship provides hands-on experience in mechanical, electrical, and plumbing engineering, offering an opportunity to work on real-world projects and gain valuable industry insights. The ideal candidate is eager to learn, has a strong interest in MEP systems, and is ready to contribute to our projects.

Duties and Responsibilities:

· Assist in the design and drafting of MEP systems using CAD and BIM software

· Collaborate with senior engineers and project managers to develop technical documentation

· Support the review and analysis of project specifications, drawings, and codes

· Participate in site visits and inspections to gain practical experience in fieldwork

· Conduct research and provide recommendations for improving MEP systems and processes

· Assist in the preparation of reports, presentations, and project documentation

· Perform other duties as assigned by the MEP team

Qualifications:

· Currently pursuing a degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Architectural, or a related field

· Basic understanding of MEP systems and principles

· Proficiency in CAD/BIM software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit) is a plus

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

· Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

· Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines

· Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment

Physical Requirements:

The ability to carry up to 50 lbs. of drawings and carry and/or climb ladders is a requirement of the position.
