Overview
Corgan is actively recruiting a dynamic Signage Designer to join the firm as part of our Brand + Graphics team. Tackle these responsibilities alongside a team of creative, highly motivated individuals who are passionate about their work and ready to collaborate to achieve outstanding results. Responsibilities
The ideal candidate will be a team-oriented, highly-motivated individual seeking progressively more responsible assignments on a variety of projects.
Responsibilities include:
- Working within Revit models to set up and manage signage components
- Design Intent Documentation for signage projects across a variety of sectors such as Data Centers, Office, Multifamily, Aviation, Education, and more. Documentation to include:
- Sign Location Planning (Revit)
- Sign Message Schedules (Revit)
- Detailed Elevations w/ dimensions, materials and finishes for pricing purposes (Adobe Illustrator and InDesign)
- Establish best practices for model standards, workflows, and resolving issues
- Maintain project-specific standards with libraries, templates, families, and worksets
- Generating technical design solutions within the functional parameters of a project
- Translating concepts and information into detailed drawings
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary members of the firm
- Participating in the process of exploring and completing usable construction document detailing solutions
- Assisting with contract administration responsibilities
- Coordinating with a variety of project teams and consultants
- Clearly communicating with Project Coordinators and Directors throughout the duration of projects
Qualifications
Qualified candidates should exhibit strong planning and organizational skills and be able to collaborate in a diverse project team. Strengths in design, technical excellence, and communication skills are also desired. Candidates should be familiar with coordinating project deliverables.
A professional degree in Architectural Technology or Graphic Design is required, along with 3+ years of professional experience and Revit proficiency with signage projects at an Architectural firm or Fabrication
