Position Summary
The Employee Experience & Engagement Coordinator supports the development, coordination, and delivery of enterprise-wide initiatives that strengthen connection, culture, and belonging at CPS Energy. This role plays a key part in designing and implementing programs that enhance the employee lifecycle—from creating an exceptional onboarding experience for new hires to supporting ongoing engagement, recognition, and organizational culture-building efforts.
Working closely with HR partners, business leaders, and cross-functional teams, this position leverages data, technology, and employee insights to improve processes, elevate the employee experience, and ensure consistent, high-quality program delivery across the organization. This role directly contributes to creating a workplace where employees feel valued, supported, and connected to CPS Energy’s mission and community.
Tasks and Responsibilities
- Provides critical support to candidates, hiring managers, internal and business stakeholders as it relates to an employee’s initial experiences at CPS Energy.
- Facilitates the onboarding process, including communication with new hires and hiring managers and completion of all onboarding requirements.
- Develops and delivers program materials and communications to new employees and their managers.
- Collaborates with HR and department partners to ensure all aspects of pre-boarding (new-hire paperwork, IT provisioning, etc.) are completed efficiently and accurately.
- Leverages technology to automate, personalize, and streamline onboarding and related workflows.
- Identifies and implements process improvements to enhance the onboarding experience.
- Oversees the Employee Experience & Engagement Inbox and responds to inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
- Coordinates meetings and project activities, including preparing agendas, documenting action items, and monitoring timelines.
- Provides analytical support and uses data, feedback, and program metrics to identify trends and recommend enhancements to employee experience initiatives.
- Maintains confidential employee records and program documentation.
- Organizes and facilitates surveys, focus groups, and listening sessions to gather employee insights.
- Develops communication plans and content to promote awareness and adoption of key employee programs, processes, benefits, events, and perks.
- Builds and maintains strong relationships with internal stakeholders to support employee experience and engagement efforts.
- Supports the planning, coordination, and execution of employee experience and engagement programs, ensuring consistent delivery and alignment with organizational goals.
- Assists with program administration, logistics, communications, and stakeholder engagement across a variety of employee experience initiatives.
- Contributes to the design, delivery, and continuous improvement of engagement and recognition activities that strengthen connection, culture, and belonging.
- Maintains program materials, calendars, and communication channels to ensure smooth operation and visibility of employee experience efforts.
- Collaborates with cross-functional partners to ensure alignment and seamless execution of employee experience initiatives.
- Facilitates onboarding sessions, engagement activities, and other program events as needed.
- Leverages HR systems and digital tools to manage workflows and enhance the employee experience.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
