Role Description
The Growth Effectiveness team at Oak Street Health plays a critical role in maximizing the number of people Oak Street Health serves. The team is part of the organization's broader Growth Team which enables Oak Street Health to engage with adults on Medicare by introducing them to our innovative and transformative approach to providing high-quality primary care. The Growth Effectiveness team is specifically focused on driving strategic initiatives to increase new patient growth, forecasting annual growth targets and decreasing customer acquisition costs.
The ‘Manager, Growth Effectiveness’ position will report to the Ld. Director, Growth Strategy & Analytics and work very closely with the AVP of Growth Effectiveness. This individual will also partner closely with leadership across the organization, including our Chief Growth Officer and Division Presidents. This role will support all ongoing efforts to increase our new patient growth. Specific efforts will include strategic planning, budgeting for new patient growth, operationalizing initiatives, leading ongoing data and reporting processes, synthesizing key findings from qualitative and quantitative analyses, and brainstorming innovative ideas for collaboration across multiple teams with Oak Street Health.
The ideal candidate will have strong critical thinking, communication, analytical, executive presence, and project management skills, be a self-driver of initiatives and innovative ideas, and collaborate cross-functionally in a fast-paced startup environment.
Core Responsibilities
Lead the forecasting of new patient growth targets for Oak Street Health
Drive analytics and lead ongoing reporting to inform strategy development, enhance partnerships, and develop recommendations to improve growth initiatives within and beyond the Growth Team
Collaborate with Oak Street Health team members and stakeholders across Patient Engagement & Population Health to align growth targets with organizational goals and priorities
Partner on budgeting process for Growth organization
Develop materials and lead discussions with internal organizational leaders
Advise leader on Growth execution
Manage and/or coach and develop junior teammates
Other duties as assigned
What are we looking for?
4+ years of experience at a top tier consulting firm, investment bank, private equity firm, or other comparable experience
Internal candidates encouraged to apply

Very strong analytical skills, with demonstrated attention to detail and experience leveraging data / analytics to solve problems
Strategic thinker who is intellectually curious and excited to influence leaders
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with eagerness to interface with internal organizational leaders
Desire to collaborate across multiple teams to create a positive impact beyond their immediate scope
Interest, experience, and/or passion for healthcare and or value-based care
Previous strategic planning and operations experience a plus
Proficient in Excel/Google Sheets, Powerpoint/Google Slides; experience with Alteryx, SQL or other programming languages a plus, but not required
Experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and other sales enablement tools is a plus
Effective and flexible team player with demonstrated success in a fast-paced environment

The typical pay range for this role is:
$66,330.00 - $145,860.00This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
