Role Description:

The Analyst for Transportation Operations is an important role at Oak Street Health, responsible for supporting OSH’s transportation services, a centralized operational function that helps us care for our patients. This service is a cornerstone of the care we provide, and is both core to daily operations and helps to remove barriers to access care. In this new role, the Analyst will support the centralized Transportation Operations team with carrying out administrative, programmatic, and strategic efforts that unlock exceptional patient service with efficiency. The Analyst for Transportation Operations would also be tasked with coordinating a fleet of 600+ vehicle assets across multiple locations, assisting in the planning of daily transportation operations, ensuring company-wide compliance with the various legal obligations of interstate, intrastate, and federal regulatory agencies, while maintaining budgetary efficiency.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Create and maintain user access for any transportation-related technology platforms and troubleshoot any issues with those programs as they occur.

  • Assist centers with best practices for scheduling patient transportation to optimize schedules and ensure the highest level of patient satisfaction while also being good stewards of transportation services through a compliance and financial lens.

  • Gather feedback on existing strategies and operationalize new ones, ensuring alignment with various regional needs and circumstances, while continually recommending improvements.

  • Monitor and report on the Compliant use of transportation assets and accounts.

  • Coordinate with our contracted vendors to apply warranty coverage for mechanical defects within the vehicle fleet.

  • Ensure seamless delivery of vehicle assets occur across all centers by communicating expectations to both vendors & center leaders while addressing any concerns or questions.

  • Coordinate with the dealership to ensure pre and post delivery inspections of assets occur and any damage or defects have been completed and documented.

  • Other duties as assigned.

What are we looking for?

  • Bachelor's degree in logistics, business management, engineering, or related field strongly preferred.

  • At least two years experience in transportation operations with strong knowledge of the transportation industry, logistics, or a related industry strongly preferred

  • Ability to collect, interpret and manipulate data to identify efficiency & cost savings opportunities and organize the information to communicate to diverse stakeholder groups.

  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to assess a situation and see where improvements can be made in efficiency and in the experience of the patient, driver and center.

  • Excellent communication and listening skills- the ability to build relationships with our field teams to understand their needs so that we can utilize this feedback to design a transportation program that achieves our goals.

  • Strong organizational skills, including the ability to manage logistics and initiatives and to track multiple streams of work simultaneously.

  • A highly collaborative nature, able to build trust quickly and work alongside a range of team members.

  • A problem-solving orientation and eagerness to identify process gaps and implement practical and high-reliability solutions.

  • A flexible and positive attitude.

  • Proficient PC skills, including Microsoft Office proficiency.

  • US work authorization.

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$21.10 - $44.99

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
