Role Description

The Credentialing Specialist will work closely with our physicians and Associate of Managed Care Operations to obtain credentials and/or EMR access with hospitals in all OSH markets. The role may also include supporting the verification processes with government agencies and insurance payers. On behalf of our physicians, you will provide formal, detailed documentation of their professional histories to these groups, and thoroughly track the process to ensure follow-through from start to finish. Other responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining online and paper database of highly sensitive physician information and paperwork.

  • Assisting with physician onboarding.

  • Ensuring physicians maintain necessary credentials, such as licensure, enrollment with CMS

  • Providing regular updates on credentialing progress to other teams within Oak Street Health.

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$21.10 - $44.99

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
