A Brief Overview
Follows processes to assist with processing, insurance verification and authorization, revenue cycle management, compliance and documentation, as well as customer service and issue resolution. Provides support in ensuring accurate billing, efficient revenue flow, and compliance with regulations.
What you will do
Conducts comprehensive enrollment and insurance verification for patients or members, gathering the necessary information to confirm coverage, policy details, and eligibility.
Analyzes insurance plans and policies to determine the extent of coverage for various medical procedures, treatments, medications, or services.
Ensures compliance with industry-specific regulations, laws, and contractual obligations related to insurance verification.
Identifies opportunities to streamline and optimize insurance verification processes.
Provides exceptional customer service to patients or members throughout the insurance verification process by addressing inquiries, concerns, and disputes related to coverage or benefits in a timely and satisfactory manner.
Communicates with insurance providers, brokers, or third-party administrators to obtain accurate and timely insurance information.
Performs quality assurance checks on insurance verification processes and data to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Handles complex insurance verification cases that may involve high-value claims, specialized services, or challenging coverage scenarios.
Provides guidance, support, and mentorship to junior insurance verification employees by assisting with training initiatives, knowledge sharing, and performance evaluations to develop and enhance the skills and competencies of the team.
Required Qualifications:
2+ years of work experience
Adept at problem solving and decision making skills

The typical pay range for this role is:
$18.50 - $35.29This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
