Position Summary
Designs, develops, and implements digital solutions and systems by applying advanced technical expertise to architect and code software applications, conduct system testing and debugging, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to the overall technical direction and innovation of digital engineering projects.
Required Qualifications
5 years of relevant work experience
Strong software engineering fundamentals (data structures, algorithms, async programming patterns, object-oriented design, parallel programming)
Strong understanding and demonstrated experience with at least one popular programming language (.NET or Java) and SQL constructs (PostGres, Snowflake, MS SQL).
Experience with cloud-based systems (Azure / AWS / GCP).
Demonstrated experience with Queuing technologies (Kafka / SNS / RabbitMQ etc)
Preferred Qualifications
5+ year experience with observability tools (New Relic, Grafana)
5+ years experience in DevOps (GitHub actions preferred)
Adept at problem solving and decision making skills
Adept at collaboration and teamwork
Adept at growth mindset (agility and developing yourself and others) skills
Adept at execution and delivery (planning, delivering, and supporting) skills
Experience writing and maintaining frontend client applications, Angular preferred
Strong experience with revision control (Git)
High level understanding of big data design (data lake, data mesh, data warehouse) and data normalization patterns
Demonstrated experience with Metrics, Logging, Monitoring and Alerting tools
Strong communication skills
Strong experience with use of RESTful APIs and AKKA messaging technology
High level understanding of system deployment tasks and technologies. (CI/CD Pipeline, Kubernetes, Terraform).
Education
Bachelor's degree preferred/specialized training/relevant professional qualification or equivalent work experience.

The typical pay range for this role is:
$83,430.00 - $222,480.00This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
