Digital Solutions Architect

Job Summary:
The Digital Solutions Architect is responsible for supporting the architecture, integration, administration, and continuous improvement of Firstmark Credit Union’s digital platforms, including Lumin Digital (Digital Banking), MeridianLink (Loan Application and Loan Origination System), and WithClutch (Loan and Deposit Applications). This role focuses on designing and maintaining robust, secure, and member-centric digital solutions that align with the credit union's strategic vision of delivering seamless digital banking experiences. Possess strong technical acumen paired with the ability to communicate effectively with executive leadership and translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.
Major Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary technical lead and subject matter expert for Lumin Digital, MeridianLink, and WithClutch platforms.
- Design and support end-to-end digital workflows, ensuring seamless integration between systems and optimal user experience.
- Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., IT, Marketing, Lending, Operations) to understand business requirements and translate them into functional digital solutions.
- Communicate system architecture, technical requirements, and platform capabilities to both executive leadership and cross-functional teams.
- Support the implementation, configuration, and ongoing maintenance of digital platforms, including troubleshooting, testing, and optimization.
- Work with third-party vendors to manage system updates, new feature releases, and issue resolution.
- Develop and maintain documentation related to system architecture, workflows, and technical processes.
- Monitor platform performance, identify opportunities for enhancement, and recommend improvements to increase efficiency and member satisfaction.
- Participate in digital transformation initiatives, assisting in the planning and execution of system upgrades and new digital tool integrations.
- Ensure digital platforms are compliant with relevant security and regulatory requirements.
- Stay current on emerging technologies and digital banking trends to proactively recommend innovative solutions.
- Provide technical support and guidance to internal stakeholders as needed.
- Performs other duties and tasks as assigned.
Job Requirements and Qualifications:
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
- 3+ years of experience supporting digital banking platforms, preferably in a financial institution.
- Hands-on experience with Lumin Digital, MeridianLink, and/or WithClutch strongly preferred.
- Experience with API integrations, system configuration, and digital user experience optimization.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Strong understanding of digital banking systems architecture and operational workflows.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and technical troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with executive leadership and explain complex systems to non-technical stakeholders.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills with both technical and non-technical teams.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and regulatory compliance standards in financial services.
- After-hour support for digital banking and account opening/loan origination platforms.
