Digital Marketing Specialist

Job Summary:
The Digital Marketing Specialist supports the execution and optimization of Firstmark’s digital communication strategies across email, social media, digital banking platforms, member engagement surveys, SMS, and internal marketing channels.
Reporting to the Manager, Marketing Operations & Planning, this role partners closely with the Marketing Operations team to ensure campaigns are executed accurately, on time, and with a strong focus on performance and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
Email Marketing & Automation
- Create, schedule, test, and optimize email campaigns and automated workflows.
- Build segmented audiences and support data hygiene within the marketing database.
- Monitor deliverability, engagement metrics, and testing strategies (A/B testing, content optimization).
- Partner with Marketing Operations to ensure accurate execution and deployment.
Social Media & Online Reputation Management
- Manage daily operations of Firstmark’s social media channels, including content creation, scheduling, posting, engagement, and performance tracking.
- Monitor and coordinate timely responses to member reviews, comments, and inquiries across social and reputation platforms (e.g., Google, Facebook, Yelp, Birdeye).
- Track sentiment, escalate critical feedback, and identify trends to inform broader marketing insights.
Digital Banking Platform Content
- Maintain and update marketing content within the Digital Banking platform, including banners, notifications, messages, and in‑app promotions.
- Support deployment, tracking, and reporting for in‑platform surveys and digital engagement tools.
Marketing Database & Campaign Execution
- Manage audience creation, list management, segmentation, and data imports/exports for multi‑channel campaigns.
- Collaborate with the Marketing Operations team to support campaign execution across email, website, digital banking, and SMS.
Text Communication & Member Engagement Tools
- Assist with the setup, scheduling, and execution of SMS/text campaigns.
- Monitor performance and support refinements based on data insights and member engagement trends.
NPS & Survey Program Support
- Support the administration of Net Promoter Score (NPS) and member satisfaction surveys.
- Pull reports, track results, and contribute to sharing insights with internal stakeholders.
Campaign Intranet & Internal Communications
- Maintain marketing content, resources, and updates within the internal campaign intranet.
- Support internal communications related to campaign launches, promotions, and member engagement initiatives.
Data Tracking & Reporting
- Assist in compiling campaign performance dashboards and monitoring KPIs across digital channels.
- Provide insights and recommendations that support ongoing optimization and continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3–5 years of hands‑on experience in digital marketing, including email marketing and social media management.
- Experience with marketing automation platforms, CRM or member databases, and social publishing tools.
- Strong writing, proofreading, and content creation skills.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret engagement metrics and campaign performance.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
- Experience in financial services, credit unions, or other regulated industries.
- Familiarity with NPS programs, survey platforms, and SMS marketing tools.
- Experience working with digital banking marketing modules or in‑platform content systems.
- Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud or similar design tools.
