Who you are:

As a Software Development Engineer in Test, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining test automation framework, infrastructure, and test automation solutions. You’re a problem solver who enjoys researching, developing, and maintaining testing infrastructure tools and environments across multiple application platforms. You believe in effective communication and will have the opportunity to address potential problems and solutions to complex issues.

What you’ll do:

  • Actively contribute to developing and maintaining test automation framework, infrastructure and test automation solutions
  • Understand, analyze, and develop complex test data sets
  • Research, develop and maintain testing infrastructure tools and environments across multiple application platforms (web, mobile, api, desktop, etc.)
  • Perform low-level testing, such as unit and module testing
  • Collaborate with development and testing teams on technical implementations
  • Work on shift left and shift right types of engineering practices
  • Coach and train team members on tools, frameworks, processes, and standards
  • Always take action using integrity, caring, and excellence to achieve all-win outcomes

What you’ll need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, a related field, or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience in designing and programming skills in Angular, Springboot, or MicroServices and scripting languages like Ruby or Python
  • Strong understanding of test automation framework development/enhancements
  • Strong understanding of Object-Oriented programming concepts
  • Proficiency in Complex SQL queries
  • Knowledge of Database Design like indexing, constraints, views, and query optimization
  • Ability to keep current with rapidly changing technology
  • Strong understanding of testing tools and frameworks, such as Appium, Selenium, RPA, TestNG, JUnit, Karate, and Cucumber
  • Experience with a distributed version-control management system like GIT
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Good understanding of DevOps, including Jenkins, Maven etc.

Additional Preferred Skills:

  • 4+ years of related work experience
  • Knowledge of service and environment virtualization and cloud computing
  • Knowledge on Non-Functional testing (Performance, Security and Accessibility Testing)
  • Knowledge on Container Technologies like docker, podman, kubernetes, or OpenShift
