Who you are:

As an IT Infrastructure and Operations Capability Leader at Frost, you are subject matter expert, overseeing the Asset Management capability area that impacts our entire IT landscape and is constantly evolving. Our IT Infrastructure and Operations Capability Leader believes in collaboration, ingenuity, and truly want to lead design and change in the IT realm. You believe in servant leadership and will work with development teams to thoughtfully create and deliver top-quality IT experiences throughout the organization.

What you’ll do:

  • Oversee the Asset Management capability area that impacts our entire IT landscape and is constantly evolving; evaluate new technologies and assess resource needs to ensure Frost is successful
  • Conduct a comprehensive assessment of Frost’s current IT Asset Management processes, including an analysis of strengths, opportunities, and risks
  • Provide strategic vision and tactical execution for IT Infrastructure and Operations initiatives; define a roadmap that drives innovation while ensuring efficient implementation that meets organizational objectives
  • Focus on improving CMBD completeness and accuracy; enhancing asset discovery and lifecycle management; and optimizing the integration between asset management tools and IT systems
  • Set clear goals, priorities, timelines, and expectations that empower subordinate managers and team members to excel in their roles, grow, and deliver exceptional IT experiences
  • Utilize specialized subject matter expertise when solving complex technical issues while ensuring internal controls are in place and that operations comply with Frost standards
  • Collaborate across the organization, offering technical guidance to estimate project scope, design new systems, and optimize functionality based on business requirements and objectives
  • Continually prioritize the organization's goals and objectives regarding talent management; ensure long-term employee success through intentional hiring, regular coaching and engagement initiatives, and ensuring that results are achieved in alignment with the Frost culture
  • Always take action using Integrity, Caring, and Excellence to achieve all-win outcomes

What you’ll need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Engineering, a related field, or equivalent experience
  • 8+ years of IT experience, including advanced knowledge of IT Infrastructure and Operations and IT Asset Management within a large and complex IT environment, preferably within Financial Services
  • Strong understanding of IT service management (ITSM) frameworks like ITIL and their application to asset management
  • In-depth knowledge of Configuration Management Database (CMDB) principles and best practices
  • Experience with IT asset lifecycle management processes, including acquisition, deployment, operation, maintenance, and disposal
  • Proven ability to lead a high performing team that delivers results
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic plans that require the ability to build consensus and exercise influence across the organization
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft computer applications

Additional Preferred Skills:

  • Master’s degree in a relevant field
  • Relevant certifications such as Certified IT Asset Manager (CITAM) or ITIL
  • Understanding of financial services industry regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Proven experience integrating asset management tools with ServiceNow, Vulnerability Management tools, GRC systems, and other relevant IT tools
