Who you are:
As an Asset Allocation and Due Diligence Research Analyst II at Frost, you are one of our primary analysts. In this role, you will be responsible for performing asset review and analysis as a member of a team. You will monitor and assess portfolio risk levels, stress testing scenarios, and potential impacts of market volatility on investment strategies More than that, this role is about building relationships and doing so with integrity, caring, and excellence in mind.
What you’ll do:
- Function as a primary analyst for Frost Investment Advisors, LLC's team, as an analyst working to develop and evaluate mutual fund assets for all sectors traded in public markets, as well as alternative assets for use in individually managed portfolios or as part of an asset allocation scheme
- Monitor and assess portfolio risk levels, stress testing scenarios, and potential impacts of market volatility on investment strategies
- Prepare detailed investment reports and communicate findings with internal and external clients, highlighting key findings, investment recommendations, and risk assessments
- Maintain an in-depth knowledge of companies to assess company financials, competitive landscape, regulatory considerations, and perform overall industry analysis
- Perform asset review and analysis as a member of a team, ensuring investment quality adheres to advisor, regulatory and client specified requirements
- Utilize Bloomberg, Intex, and/or Factset modeling systems to monitor detailed security and portfolio analytics that track investment performance and asset characteristics over time
- Evaluate the qualitative and quantitative characteristics of a diverse group of assets to assess the suitability of holdings to achieve the investment goals of Frost Investment Advisors and their clients

What you’ll need:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience conducting analysis within the investment management industry
- Series 65/66 or the ability to obtain within six months
- Proven ability to conduct valuable analysis and research related to investment choices and strategies
- Proficient in FactSet, Bloomberg, or other financial modeling applications
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft computer applications
Additional Preferred Skills:
- Progress towards CFA designation or another relevant designation, such as CAIA or CIMA
- MBA or Master's degree in a relevant discipline
