Your Role

We are currently seeking a skilled and dependable Temporary Accounts Payable Clerk to provide support during a busy period.

What You Will Do

The Temporary Accounts Payable Clerk will support both payables processing functions. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of maintaining accuracy under deadlines.

• Process vendor invoices, ensuring proper approvals and account coding

• Prepare payment runs, including checks, ACH, and wires

• Review corporate credit card transactions to ensure compliance with company policies and verify accurate GL coding for payment review

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date vendor records

• Address vendor inquiries and support the month-end payables reconciliation

• Provide support for internal reporting and audits

• Collaborate with team members on ad hoc finance projects

Your Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience)

• 2+ years of experience in accounts payable and/or general ledger accounting

• Strong understanding of accounting principles and procedures

• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Coupa, Vision/ VantagePoint) and Excel

• Strong attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a temporary or contract accounting role

• Familiarity with ERP systems and automated AP workflows

Additional Details

• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–4:00 PM (PST)

• Duration: 7-month assignment, potential for extension

* The hourly pay rate for this position is $28.00.
