What You Will Do:
As an Associate Director of Pricing & Project Optimization you will coordinate and govern the implementation and use of pricing strategies and data management tools that guide Firm-wide operational effectiveness, market competitiveness and risk compliance. As a senior member of the Growth Team, you will ensure pricing data are accurately identified, captured, analyzed, and presented to support strategic decision-making, drive growth, and enhance sales effectiveness.
Tasks include:
Directly align to the Corporate Pricing Department and serve as a strategic partner to Finance, Sales and Practice Leadership to understand business operations needs and sales reporting & analysis requirements
Support management of the pricing teams to promote the effective and standardized use of pricing tools and cost volumes application and development
Ensure consistency of pricing tools & methodologies integration and manage the framework for evaluating contingency-based engagements
Collaborate with Finance and the Growth Office to align estimated revenue and gross relative to targeted sales and growth budget forecasts
Support the Practice in their adoption of tracking and evaluating methodologies to manage actual margins as compared to initial bid
Conduct training and communicating with Practice and Growth leadership strategies to optimize project margin by institutionalizing program levers that have the most impact to the business
Ensure effective use of CRM and other sales tools to inform decision-making, drive revenue, and enforce data governance standards for sales reporting
Lead initiatives to standardize sales KPIs and reporting formats across practices, lines of services, capabilities, and geographies
What You Will Need:
Bachelor’s degree and minimum of 10 Years of Experience
Requires expertise in theories, concepts, and principles to drive results for the organization, and applies extensive business and industry expertise
Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, MS Dynamics)
Exceptional analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Experience working in a large, matrixed organization is a plus
What Would Be Nice To Have:
Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or Data Analytics is preferred, and an MBA is also desirable
Direct and proven experience in a similarly structured role preferably within a professional services or consulting firm
Expertise in using CRM software, business intelligence tools, and data visualization platforms
Excellent ability to present complex information clearly and persuasively to different audiences
Understanding of financial principles and the broader business context to align sales reporting with organizational goals
Experience and knowledge of AI tools including Microsoft Copilot
Preference will be given to candidates who are located within 50 miles of a Guidehouse office
