JOB DESCRIPTION: INSIDE SALES COORDINATOR

SUMMARY: As an Inside Sales Coordinator, you are responsible for assisting salesperson(s) with quoting projects and all associated needs. Moreover, you will be responsible for coordinating any installation, service, or delivery requirements of the sales team.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: include the following: (other duties may be assigned)

  • Provide quotes and support in generating quotes to sales staff
  • Assist in the preparation and distribution of sales proposals, quotes, and contracts
  • Visit job sites and document progress as requested
  • Coordinate sales meetings, including scheduling, agenda preparation, and follow-up actions
  • Act as a liaison between Sales, Install, Service, and Delivery teams
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities
  • Assist with take offs
  • Assist sales staff with any additional administrative needs; adds-onto or changes existing orders

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: N/A

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Knowledge of Home Building Industry - particularly lumber and building materials, is preferred. Minimum of a High School diploma or GED; Bachelor’s degree from a four- year college or university is preferred; or one to two years’ experience in a sales-driven environment; or equivalent education and experience.

OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Individual must understand the process and importance of the sales process. Must be able to deliver exceptional customer service and results in a fast-paced, improvement-focused and changing environment. The individual must be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and database management & systems.

LANGUAGE SKILLS: Bilingual in Spanish and English is not a requirement, but is preferred.
