JOB DESCRIPTION: MARKETING COORDINATOR
SUMMARY: The Marketing Coordinator provides administrative and execution support for the marketing department across Guido Companies. This role focuses on coordination, organization, scheduling, and follow-through across multiple marketing initiatives, ensuring deadlines are met and day-to-day needs are handled smoothly.
This position works closely with the Marketing Director, Marketing Manager, and Senior Proposal Writer to support ongoing marketing efforts for Guido Companies with opportunities to assist in design, social media, events, and digital assets under the direction of the Marketing Director and Marketing Manager.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: (other duties may be required)
- Coordinate schedules, deadlines, and deliverables for marketing projects.
- Track multiple initiatives at once and help keep all marketing activities moving forward.
- Manage sponsorship requests, timelines, and fulfillment.
- Manage contact lists, mailers, and basic campaign logistics.
- Maintain organized digital files for marketing assets, photos, and documents.
- Handle ordering of marketing materials, signage, promotional items, and event supplies.
- Support print and digital marketing efforts, including flyers, ads, mailers, and collateral.
- Assist with social media scheduling and coordination.
- Coordinate internal events, client events, and community events, including logistics, vendors, and follow up.
- Assist with internal communications such as announcements and newsletters.
- Coordinate with outside vendors for printing, signage, apparel, and promotional items.
- Make basic edits and layout updates in Adobe InDesign as directed.
- Assist with preparing graphics for proposals, presentations, and marketing materials.
- Help maintain brand consistency across materials.
- Assist with routine website updates and content uploads.
- Collect and organize content from internal teams for marketing use.
- Help schedule social media posts and assist with content creation.
- Support photo and video needs by assisting with shoots, organizing assets, and editing.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: A Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university in Marketing, Design, Business, Communications, or related, is preferred. Additionally, 1-3 years in marketing/communications support, branding, and graphic design required. Working knowledge of Adobe InDesign required.
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- High attention to detail and follow through
- Ability to juggle multiple priorities without dropping details
- Comfortable supporting multiple team members and initiatives
- Familiarity with website CMS platforms and social media tools
- Construction related experience is a plus
- Photography and videography experience is a plus
- Prior experience with social media management preferred
LANGUAGE SKILLS: Bilingual in Spanish and English is preferred.
