JOB DESCRIPTION: Window and Door Driver Helper

SUMMARY: The Driver Helper is responsible for a portion of distribution operations. They work closely with warehouse/distribution management and other warehouse/distribution staff to maintain a safe and efficient environment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following: (other duties may be assigned)

• Assist in navigation of deliveries using GPS
• Assist in contacting customer before deliver
• Assist in driving (as necessary)
• Strap and unstrap loads for delivery and upon delivery
• Assist in dropping off product at location
• Conduct all activities in a safe manner, adhering to company safety standards

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: High School Diploma or GED, minimum, is required.

OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES: The individual must have good working knowledge of building materials, tape measure, and basic mathematical skills.

LANGUAGE SKILLS: Bilingual in Spanish and English is not a requirement, but is preferred.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: OSHA 10 hour is preferred. Current, valid driver’s license is required.

PHYSICAL AND MENTAL DEMANDS: Physical ability to perform tasks that may require prolonged standing, sitting, or other activities necessary to perform job duties. Must be able to move large, bulky and/or heavy merchandise up to 100 pounds; ability to work in variable daily weather conditions. Must be able to drive to and from Guido HQ and other locations for business purposes.
