JOB DESCRIPTION: INSTALLATION HELPER

SUMMARY: The Installation Helper is responsible for assisting the lead installer with the installation of window and/or door products. They work closely with the installers as well as the management team in providing excellent customer service.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following: (other duties may be assigned)

• Assist with preparing the product for delivery and installation
• Assist with installation of large door installations and window assembly
• Conduct all activities in a safe manner, adhering to company safety standards
• Provide excellent customer service

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: N/A

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: High School Diploma or GED, minimum, is required.

OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES: The individual must have good working knowledge of building materials, use of basic hand and power tools. Background in window and/or construction industry preferred but not required.

LANGUAGE SKILLS: Bilingual in Spanish and English is not a requirement, but is preferred.

PHYSICAL AND MENTAL DEMANDS: Physical ability to perform tasks that may require prolonged standing, sitting, or other activities necessary to perform job duties. Must be able to move large, bulky and/or heavy merchandise up to 100 pounds; ability to work in variable daily weather conditions.
