Responsibilities Job Summary: The Parkway Tech I supports overall operations by assisting in mechanical, hydraulic and electrical repairs on Material Handling Equipment (MHE); receives training to advance technical abilities; works under immediate supervision from detailed verbal / written instructions. Key Responsibilities & Essential Functions: • Performs routine and scheduled maintenance • Performs complete mechanical and hydraulic repairs on company handling equipment • Completes limited repairs on electronic MHE • Repairs internal combustion support equipment • Operates hoists, jacks, lathes, presses, forklifts, hand tools and industrial power tools to include electrical test equipment • Completes minor component rebuilding • Receives training from Parkway Techs II and III to advance skillset • Fills out all work orders • Maintains sanitary and safe work environment • Performs other duties as assigned The responsibilities and essential functions outlined above describe the general nature and level of work assigned to this position.
