Responsibilities Job Summary: Responsible for designing customized layouts that drive profitability, operational efficiency, and customer experience. Leverages advanced analytics, cross-functional collaboration, and precision execution, to influence key metrics – such as sales per square foot, inventory turnover, and shrink reduction – while enabling coordinated decision-making across merchandising, procurement, supply chain, and store operations. Key Responsibilities & Essential Functions: Supports merchandising strategies, provides localized solutions reflecting store‑specific needs. Learn to analyze sales trends, inventory management, and shopper patterns to inform space planning decisions, ensuring sales and gross profits are meeting goals Support merchandising, supply chain, and store operations teams, providing tactical expertise to align layouts with business objectives. Supports Merchandising special projects and new initiatives Learns tools, processes, and analytical skills to support capability growth The responsibilities and essential functions outlined above describe the general nature and level of work assigned to this position. Qualifications & Key Requirements: Entry individual contributor in a professional role. Receives detailed instructions and works under close review and supervision in a developmental environment. Applies learned theories, concepts, principles, and methodologies to work assignments. Majority of work efforts are focused on supporting implementation or delivery of processes, programs, and/or policies and are not typically difficult or complex. Learns how to develop internal working relationships. Work Experience: 0+ years of experience in a retail environment, with exposure to store operations, merchandising, inventory practices, and managing budgets Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Basic knowledge of principles, practices and procedures related to merchandising to complete difficult assignments Basic conflict management skills Basic organizational skills Basic project management skills Ability to communicate at all levels of management and partners Education: A related degree or comparable formal training, certification, or work experience Licenses/Certifications: Physical Demands & Working Conditions: Function in a fast-paced, office environment Travel by car or plane with overnight stays Work extended hours; sit for extended periods.
