Responsibilities Job Summary: As a Senior Manager of Corporate Project & Program Management, you'll lead a team of Human Resources Partners who provide strategic guidance and engagement with key stakeholders and project / program teams within Human Resources and the Supply Chain division. Key Responsibilities & Essential Functions: Management / Project Management: Manages activities that drive program development and delivery at the team / department level, and across departments; serves as dedicated owner of a large set of related programs and projects, typically strategically- or thematically related Manages a team of more senior HR Project Managers and Program Managers Hires / maintains staffing / fires/ promotes / demotes / transfers / disciplines / approves raises; manages / develops / trains teams to achieve department goals; develops / delegates tasks to complete projects Leads / coaches / provides effective feedback; provides day-to-day leadership; communicates connection between Partners and impact to operational objectives Provides leadership and expertise to functional teams; participates in cross-functional initiatives Manages assigned unit(s) / department(s) in areas of budgets, schedules, planning, and quality Assists in / may lead development of budgets and goals Crafts program vision; coordinates cross-functional teams of Partners / suppliers Explores / validates / executes with no pre-defined solutions; makes independent decisions in ambiguous and complex areas, based on analysis, experience, judgment Collaborates cross-functionally to understand / document business needs in an end-to-end manner Drives creation of program roadmaps Collaborates with business customers, Program Managers, and Design & Engineering Partners to drive entire project and program lifecycles Identifies change management opportunities; ensures team facilitates change management initiatives related to assigned projects and program Manages / leads team to demonstrate high velocity, efficiency, and morale; ensures team consistently meets committed deadlines Flexes existing processes to maximize outcomes; identifies critical risks and dependencies; anticipates / resolves critical team issues with little escalation The responsibilities and essential functions outlined above describe the general nature and level of work assigned to this position. Qualifications & Key Requirements: Work Experience: 7+ years of experience in program management 2+ of experience leading / managing people Experience supporting HR Programs for retail, supply chain, ecommerce, and digital marketing operations Experience successfully working in a fast-paced, change-oriented environment Experience in technology consulting Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Comprehensive knowledge of voice of the customer techniques and PM tools - Working knowledge of retail accounting / finance principles - Advanced Excel, SQL, and analytical skills - Advanced verbal / written communication and presentation skills - Strong negotiating and interpersonal skills - Strong decision-making skills - Strong leadership / management skills - Ability to leverage data to tell a meaningful story - Education: A related degree or comparable formal training, certification, or work experience - Physical Demands & Working Conditions: Work collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment Work extended hours The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those a Partner encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
