Responsibilities The Supply Chain Analysis team is just one part of H-E-B’s Corporate Planning & Analysis division, which develops / maintains budgets and systems while providing current, reliable financial data, analysis, and technical info. The Supply Chain Analysis team focuses on Supply Chain optimization and supporting / delivering systems applications to support strategic initiatives. As a Supply Chain Analyst, you’ll develop processes, tools, reports, and provide data analytics to support H-E-B’s supply chain strategic initiatives, such as supply and demand forecasting, inventory planning, logistics, and cost optimization. We are looking for: − 5+ years of supply chain experience What is the work? Analytics: − Independently identifies / documents / analyzes / implements / communicates solutions to meet the needs of the business − Defines / documents current and future operational scenarios and work with other business areas / client groups to translate moderately complex business needs into solutions / business requirements − Analyzes probable impact of recommendations and solutions on other business areas and client groups − Contributes to cost / benefit analysis, design, and implementation of supply chain models for projects − Provides support and resources for ad-hoc analysis requests, tools, development, and process improvement projects − Identifies issues and gaps within current business processes; develops solutions that drive continuous improvement in the functional area − Serves clients / stakeholders as an emerging subject matter expert and thought leader in focus area Project Management: − Manages medium to large complexity projects that may encompass technologies, facilities, processes, materials, handling systems, or other business initiatives − Ensures project is on schedule, of high quality, within determined budget, meets departmental scorecard, and creates business value − Contributes to project efforts / status − Proactively develops project management tools for Supply Chain − Supports / delivers training and education services to teams and resources − May lead, in conjunction with project teams, delivery of processes, systems, processes, metrics, services − Maintains client-stakeholder partnerships to ensure overall satisfaction What is your background? − A related degree or comparable formal training, certification, or work experience − 5+ years of experience − Supply Chain Systems: Project Management Professional Certification (preferred) OR − Supply Chain Optimization: Experience developing / maintaining engineered labor standards (preferred) OR − Transportation Procurement: experience with freight term changes and logistics / Llamasoft: Supply Chain Guru experience (preferred) Do you have what it takes to be a fit as an H-E-B Supply Chain Analyst? − Proficiency in MS Office − Advanced negotiating and influencing skills − Advanced analytical and project management skills − Advanced verbal / written communication and presentation skills − Strong organization and time management skills − Ability to manage multiple priorities and shift focus between projects − Ability to work complex issues with senior management − Initiative; willingness to take risks Can you… − Function in a fast-paced, retail, office environment − Travel by car or plane with overnight stays − Sit for extended periods − Work extended hours
