Job Description Job Summary: As a Parts Clerk I, you will inventory, stock, and issue parts and supplies; purchase assigned or designated parts and services from vendors; work under immediate supervision from detailed verbal / written instructions. Key Responsibilities & Essential Functions: Inventory Management / Customer Service: Develops / applies basic skills in procedures, techniques, tools, materials and / or equipment appropriate to area of specialization Receives into stock; opens work orders; issues parts to internal mechanics using first in, first out first out (FIFO) Accepts warranty items; receives returned parts for warranty evaluation Receives / picks up parts from vendors Performs basic inventory practices; performs standardized duties / tasks Performs basic customer service duties Answers / resolves routine customer questions and problems; refers more complex issues to higher levels The responsibilities and essential functions outlined above describe the general nature and level of work assigned to this position. Qualifications & Key Requirements: Work Experience: 1+ years of experience in Parts Department - Required Experience in inventory practices (FIFO, cycle counts, annual inventory) - Required Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Strong organization and time management skills - Required Intermediate skills in MS Office - Required Verbal / written communication skills - Required Personal leadership skills - Required Ability to manage multiple priorities and shift focus between tasks; attention to detail - Required Education: HS Diploma or GED or equivalent - Required Licenses/Certifications: MHE certification - Required Physical Demands & Working Conditions: Function in a fast-paced, retail office environment Work extended hours and rotating schedules, including holidays, nights, and weekends; sit for extended periods Properly wear PPE for extended periods Regularly lift up to 20 lbs; occasionally lift 100 lbs or more Work sitting, standing, stooping, bending, or in a prone position; work with hands over head Climb and work from a ladder The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those a Partner encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
