Director of Education and Training

General Job Overview

The Director of Education and Training is responsible for leading the Heritage Higher Education Program by coordinating and facilitating continuing education classes for licensed real estate agents.

This is an exceptional opportunity for a passionate, knowledgeable individual to join a dynamic and creative team.

Essential Duties

  • Research, plan, and coordinate classes as well as brainstorm class topics and speakers
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop strategies that promote the educational program
  • Work with underwriters, instructors and sponsors for classes
  • Maintain, track, record and submit TREC attendance forms and confirm recordation of credits
  • Coordinate, prepare, assemble and distribute class materials
  • Order and organize education program supplies, including any meals for classes
  • Maintain and update class schedules on the company website
  • Create and maintain a master education calendar as well as budget to track education expenses
  • Create and send class information and flyers and education posts for social media platforms
  • Maintain and update client databases

Other Duties

  • Effectively communicate in writing, by phone and in person with coworkers, instructors, clients, sponsors, and underwriters while maintaining positive rapport
  • Proofread/review correspondence and materials for accuracy and completeness
  • Gather and analyze information to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner
  • Satisfy customer needs by providing and delivering professional, helpful, high-quality service
  • Assist other team members, as and when needed, to reach company goals

Requirements

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Exceptional organizational skills and ability to thrive in fast-paced, professional environment
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Proficiency in social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn
  • Proficiency in InDesign
  • Ability to work on a team and individually

Preferred

  • 1+ years of experience in the real estate industry
  • Proven experience in a professional work environment
  • Familiarity with continuing education programs
  • Familiarity with Canva and Mailchimp
