International has great opportunity for a CONTRACT Employee Relations Specialist.
The assignment is remote but would require occasional travel to our manufacturing facilities.
The Contract Employee Relations Specialist is responsible for investigating employee relations matters ensuring that the standard investigation process and documentation is complete; performance and/or disciplinary concerns; coaching and guiding managers and employees.
Responsibilities
- Employee investigations & Employee relations
- Conduct investigation, document all steps of the process and close out case in a timely manner.
- Interpret and drive consistency of HR policies and practices.
- Work cross functionally with legal, compliance, HR Business Partners etc.
- Works closely with site leaders to ensure that all policies and procedures are understood, communicated, and consistently administered with all employees.
- Responsible to ensure that all tracking of investigations and other employee relations matters are being properly executed.
- Maintains accurate, complete, and confidential records of all ER cases.
- Maintain good/consistent communication with manager and employee on pending cases.
- Work closely with peers and COEs across the company to plan and implement various initiatives and processes
- Drive organizational effectiveness
- Succession planning and talent development/retention
- Project management of key cross functional programs and priorities
- Analyzing data to drive critical business decisions
- Lead change
- Build relationships and act as a liaison when necessary
Additional Requirements

- Previous experience and a demonstrated understanding of how to handle an investigation
- Ability to thoroughly document and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
- Bi-lingual in Spanish is a plus
- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple, possibly conflicting priorities in a fast paced, dynamic environment
- Strong communication and administrative skills
- Strong problem solving, conflict resolution, and decision-making skills
- The ability to work well with employees at all levels of the organization
- Ability to be respectful, approachable and team oriented while building strong working relationships and a positive work environment
