Position Overview

International is looking for a Sr. MES Analyst to join our IT Manufacturing Execution System (MES) Team.

The MES Analyst will conduct analysis, design, evaluation, modification, testing and implementation of enterprise-wide systems (e.g., Rockwell Factory Talk, Pinpoint) across functional areas.

Responsibilities

  • Co-create MES strategy and roadmap with business partners in collaboration with IT Partners and external vendors.
  • Identify and execute opportunities to create additional value, improve business processes, enhance user experience, standardize technologies, and leverage solutions across sites.
  • Through Agile delivery model, provide leadership, technical expertise, and local implementation experience while collaborating with the delivery team to drive high-quality product delivery.
  • Manage backlog prioritization with business champion focused on plant's most important KPIs related to safety, quality, efficiency, productivity, and conformity.
  • Facilitate the creation of requirements and user stories with business champion to translate capabilities into tangible technical tasks.
  • Determine business criticality and product quality requirements, ensure appropriate service levels, Disaster Recovery procedures, governance, change management, compliance, and operational support for the MES product.
  • Support plant operation during rollout and daily work with the MES.
  • Consult in cases of problem solving by analyzing data and application issues.
  • Ensure compliance with IT standards, data privacy, cybersecurity regulations, and industry regulations.
  • Coordinate technical discussions and vendor negotiations.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, partners, and senior stakeholders, inspiring the team and providing a unique vision for what is possible.
  • Represent IT on the Shop Floor Launch Committee which understands impact of changes to MES, controls and shop floor equipment and assess risk and coordination efforts needed.
  • Proactively build relationships with those outside of your immediate team resulting in horizontal influence.
  • Utilize balanced judgment in decisions about risks of both actions taken and not taken while seeking ways to iterate faster in a well-managed way for the immediate team.
  • Keeps abreast of key Manufacturing IT trends - Industrial IoT, Manufacturing Digital Plant Maturity, Cybersecurity, Data Integrity principles, technology, and data standardization, etc.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • At least 8 years of experience analyzing, designing, evaluating, modifying, testing and implementing enterprise-wide systems or business experience using ERP applications
  • At least 1 year of lead experience

OR

  • Master’s degree
  • At least 6 years of experience analyzing, designing, evaluating, modifying, testing and implementing enterprise-wide systems or business experience using ERP applications
  • At least 1 year of lead experience

OR

  • At least 10 years of experience analyzing, designing, evaluating, modifying, testing and implementing of enterprise-wide systems or business experience using ERP applications
  • At least 1 year of lead experience

Additional Requirements

  • Qualified candidates, excluding current International Motors employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States. Desired Skills

  • Deep experience in product management or building complex digital solutions, preferably in manufacturing/shopfloor along with integration to the SCADA layer and with PLCs.
  • Exhibits intellectual curiosity and integrity and has a strong passion to bring value-adding technology to the business.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Action oriented.
  • Ability to remove roadblocks, and stay focused on goals.
  • Able to change to different tasks rapidly, and independently prioritizes work.
