JOB FUNCTION:

Educate existing or prospective commercial customers on the variety of Treasury Management Products and Services tailored to assist with streamlining their day-to-day operations, improve cash flow while reducing their exposure to potential fraud. Requires a self-starter with strong knowledge of Treasury Management products, excellent communication skills, and dynamic networking expertise that will primarily focus on Small-Mid Market size Commercial Customer from 1 million to 10 million in Revenue.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • This role focuses on driving sales growth through targeted outreach, utilizing internal partner leads, and conducting external business development calls which results in proactively building external prospect pipelines
  • Responsible for generating new commercial deposits each year
  • Responsible for assisting the Treasury Management Group with obtaining annual fee income goals
  • Focus will be on supporting internal sales channels request via CRM for the Banking Centers, Private Banking and Commercial Lending
  • Responsible for expanding Treasury Management Services in the New Braunfels, Boerne, and San Antonio Market
  • Being well versed in all product offerings related, but not limited to, Treasury Management. Ex: ACH, Same Day ACH, Domestic and International Wires, Remote Deposit Capture, Positive Pay, Lockbox, Merchant Services, Treasury Management Platform, Various Treasury Reporting etc.
  • Conduct personalized and tailored training sessions with the Commercial Lending Group, Private Banking and the Banking Center Group to ensure driven, purposeful calls for all TM Services at customer location, Zoom, Teams or phone support
  • Be readily available and highly responsive to internal bank partners, existing and/or prospective customers’ request
  • Prepare and present tailored demo presentations for internal bank partners, existing customer and/or prospects
  • Ensure Treasury Management support teams receive accurate and timely documentation for implementing and modifying services
  • Coordinate appointments with Treasury Management Implementation Specialist and Bank Servicing Officer
  • Present training sessions for customers independently or in conjunction with other officers
  • Perform site visit and maintain related documentation
  • Contact new and existing customers to introduce Treasury Management products and services
  • Maintain accurate records via CRM of customer calls including planning and coordinating call scheduled to be the most efficient for the customer
  • Utilize bank’s technology such as PDF, e-signature and secured e-mail to deliver customer specific related documents
  • Assist in developing performance tracking reports for management to accurately measure sales and service delivery monthly
  • Maintain and ensure accurate records of the TM boarding process and security elections according to quality assurance standards
  • Participate, promote, and/or coordinate community events related to Treasury Management Services
  • Deploy an elevated level of critical thinking skills to expedite resolutions for customer issues
  • Serve as customer advocate and support positive relationships with problem solving or custom request by customers
  • Assist Treasury Management Implementation Specialist and Treasury Management Support with special projects
  • Practice independent time management skills to most efficiently plan daily activities
  • This role may involve travel within the Bank's geographic area
  • Perform other duties as assigned

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Work Experience

  • Five to Seven years’ experience in Treasury Management or related Treasury Management Roles
  • Seven years’ experience in general bank operations including electronic banking, payment systems and other bank core systems
  • Five years’ experience working with customers in a professional environment on the phone and face to face
  • Experience working at a high level of diplomacy and professionalism with a variety of customers including senior bank officers

Supervisory Experience

  • None

Education/Skills/Experience

  • High School or equivalent. College degree, preferred
  • Experience in a sales and service environment
  • Experience in presenting products to large, preferred business customers or individuals
  • Demonstrated communication skills (written and oral)
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced work environment handling multiple projects.

Equipment/Machines/Software

  • Excellent computer literacy in all Microsoft Programs (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  • Ability to use Adobe Standard and Reader.
  • Proficiency in utilizing various internet browsers.
  • Core banking systems (Jack Henry Silverlake, ProfitStars, preferred)
  • Ability to work with office equipment such as copiers, scanners, shredders, fax, laptop, projectors, audio visual equipment, check scanners, and iPad.
  • Proficient use and installation of Remote Deposit Capture Scanners.

Position Includes Driving

  • Yes, valid driver’s license is required.

Competency Requirements

  • Must be able to hear and speak to communicate with customers.
  • Proven organizational skills with ability to multi-task and follow assigned tasks through.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Must be accustomed to a fast-paced office environment.
  • Must have the ability to work with frustrated or anxious customers.

Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to reach, bend and lift files up to 30 lbs.
  • Must be able to sit for most of the day in front of a computer.
  • Must be able to use telephone headsets.
  • Must be able to type on a keyboard.
  • Must be able to speak to and hear customers.
  • Must be able to read a laptop/computer monitor.
  • Must be able to be mobile in an office environment.
  • Must have reliable transportation and able to travel to make calls in San Antonio and surrounding areas.
