Quality Control Specialist

JOB FUNCTION:
Perform administrative and clerical duties in the New Accounts Division with a major concentration on the CIP and legal documentation review. Responsible for tracking errors and compliance violations related to deposit accounts. Responsible for assisting New Account Quality Control Supervisor and New Account Administrative Manager with special projects and daily duties as assigned.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Verification of Consumer, Business, Fiduciary, and Foreign Individual CIP files generated by Relationship Bankers, Universal Bankers, and Private Bankers.
- Responsible for the review of required consumer, business, and fiduciary new account documentation to include Beneficial Ownership, Model Account Disclosures, and other regulatory forms to ensure Quality Assurance.
- Responsible for CIF and account level maintenance as it pertains to quality assurance.
- Prepares and maintains data entry within Synapsys incidents ongoing throughout the day.
- Responsible for working daily and outstanding tracking incidents in a timely manner.
- Responsible for posting weekly tracking reports to the Departmental Portal Page.
- Ability to multi task within multiple software applications to include Microsoft programs, Synapsis, Enterprise Workflow, Adobe PDF Editor, Synergy Capture, and the Silverlake core system while utilizing a dual screen to complete tasks.
- Daily importing of new account and other legal documentation to company’s content management software.
- Ability to assist employees with questions regarding incidents on the Quality Control Tracking Report to include business entity structures, signer relationships and authorities, and knowledge of all required documentation.
- Monitor CIF maintenance reports
- Maintain outgoing correspondence on outstanding quality assurance tracking issues to Relationship Bankers, Universal Bankers, Private Bankers, and BSA when applicable.
- Assist and retrieves audit files for BSA audit for CIP.
- Ability to perform accurate work output in fast-pace office environment
- Ability to work independently with good problem-solving skills
- Perform other duties as assigned
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Work Experience
- 2 years banking experience with 1 year of New Account experience
- Excellent customer service and communication skills, on phone and in person
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent multi-tasking skills and ability to work with dual monitors
Supervisory Experience:
- None
Education/Skills/Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Advance level of expertise in Microsoft Word, Excel, Adobe Reader PDF Programs
Equipment/Machines/Software
- Proficient with PC (Windows XL, Outlook, IE 6.0, Word, Excel, Power Point, Adobe Reader)
- Ability to work with office equipment such as copiers, scanners, shredders, fax,
Telephone headsets, calculators

- Ability to multi-task in a high producing environment while maintaining a high level of accuracy
- Skill to work in a dynamic, high monetary risk operations division governed by stringent deadlines and regulatory requirements

Physical Requirements
- Must be able to reach, bend and lift files up to 30 lbs
- Must be able to sit for most of the day in front of a computer
- Must be able to write, speak and hear to communicate with customers
- Must be able to read from a computer screen
- Must be able to type on keyboard
- Must be able to be mobile in an office environment
