Headquartered in south-central Texas, we are currently expanding our Training and Talent Development team. This position is based in our main office with up to 25% travel amongst our company portfolio.

POSITION OVERVIEW

The Systems Trainer serves as a secure foundation for all things software programs and community online operational processes. This position is part of our Training and Talent Development KREW who is rooted in organizational development and people-centric ethos. This role encompasses far more than just simple training facilitation! As the owner of Kairoi’s systems training platform, the Systems Trainer will facilitate existing content in addition to participating in the development of new software systems-related training initiatives and programs. This role monitors both SME (subject matter expert) and 3rd Party training compliance, facilitates virtual systems classes and conducts ‘train-the-trainer’ coaching. Plus, the Systems Trainer has a critical responsibility in managing, maintaining and reporting on our internal systems LMS (learning management system), all having a strong impact on elevating every aspect of Kairoi’s Associate Experience, Growth, and Development.

The Systems Trainer is a pivotal representative of Kairoi's training programs and talent development platform. This position offers the chance to cultivate enduring relationships while showcasing your expertise in software systems, computers and community operations online processes - all while engaging associates with targeted teaching facilitation and learning progress tracking. Success hinges on the ability to execute, engage, lead, impact, measure and lift Kairoi’s overall, onsite systems expertise effectively within all communities, across all markets. Adept software programs-related training experience and the ability to communicate processes in a meaningful, sticky way will be instrumental in leaving a lasting impact that enables others to learn and reach their fullest potential.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

A day in the life of the Systems Trainer role could look like, first administering communications and ensuring all key stakeholders are both informed and prepared. Next, help inspect and identify system process liability issues while diving into the thrill of coaching onsite operational KREWS to grow their computer and software skills, utilizing your passion for teaching to orchestrate seamless learning experiences. Then work with both SME’s and 3rd Party instructors to help ensure their systems training segments align with the Kairoi-way, all while maintaining current time data and records on the training calendar and in the dedicated LMS systems.

But that's not all—this role extends beyond coaching! Be prepared to provide unparalleled virtual training facilitation, going above and beyond to meet the needs of our teams and learners. As the power supply to our community operations training platform, you'll execute live system training classes both virtually and in person.

Lean into your results-driven mindset, as you work hand-in-hand with external vendors and other internal training leads to coordinate required software training and certifications. Possessing a keen focus on how to grow our systems knowledge library and operational skill talent bench is key, while mitigating community management risks and safety liabilities comes into play as you produce training on software-system topics. Job duties include but are not limited to the following:

  • Reviewing, auditing, tracking, and reporting on existing software system training programs and platforms
  • Maintaining and updating Kairoi’s systems training library and dedicated LMS’s
  • Communicating system-based learning requirements, processes, and schedules
  • Facilitating instructor-led training events and logistics (virtually and in-person)
  • Teaching associates, plus other coaches, in both one-on-one and group settings
  • Coordinating external software training and industry-based certification opportunities
  • Scheduling, monitoring, and tracking software ‘train-the-trainer’ sessions
  • Supporting training processes for new associate and new client onboarding
  • Developing ongoing role-specific, plus community-segmentation-based software system training curriculums
  • Serving as a subject matter resource and point of contact for all system and software on-site training inquiries and requests
  • Implementing project management timelines, tracking and outcomes
  • Participating in the long-term development of software systems knowledge testing for Assistant Community Directors and Community Directors
  • Actively leading with departmental social media engagement (internally and externally)
  • Providing remarkable service and personalized support that impacts our onsite KREWS computer and software system skill sets
  • Becoming a Subject Matter Expert in how we can make our community operations and management software programs work for us in the best ways
  • Managing training support and requests through Help Desk ticketing system
  • Performing assigned Training and Talent Development departmental tasks, while collaborating closely with Software Service and Technology Service departments
Requirements

EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION, & PERFORMANCE QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

The Systems Trainer must possess strong computer, onsite community operations and property management experience with a desire to expand their impact through learning to excel as a coach, facilitator, coordinator, bridge, and multifamily industry training leader. The ideal candidate will be software savvy, end-user systemally sound, knowledgeable, and credible. Being a coachable, accountable, self-starting team player, who loves people and the training software program foundations that support them matters. Empathy and relationships matter, too, experience in an onsite Assistant Community Director or above role is helpful, experience facilitating multi-family industry software systems is a must!

Prior Education and Experience requirements are

  • At least 5 years in any multi-family on-site community, software or technology systems trades training, or help desk support roles in the multifamily. Hospitality industry experience will also be considered (experience working with varied leadership styles, community segmentations, and 3rd party management is a plus).
  • Must have obtained a certificate or degree of formal education in Training, Human Resources, Hospitality, Business Management, Computer Science, End-User Experience, Software, Project Management, and/or Property Operation related fields.
  • Must demonstrate an intermediate to advanced level of technology education using systems like Asana, Google Suite, any Learning Management System, any Help Desk Ticket correspondence, Social Media tools, spreadsheets, schedules, surveys, and reporting.
  • Proven ability to dissect, learn, and coach multiple industry software systems and their programming parameters.
  • Proven experience and a successful results-oriented track record in technology training and coaching (certifications may be required and are desired).
  • Care about people, possess the ability to empathetically communicate with knowledge-driven interpersonal abilities. Bi-lingual in spanish is a plus!
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with the demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines effectively while traveling on a regular basis.
