Our Opportunity
Job Title: Content Specialist
Job Location: San Antonio, TX

Role Summary: KHBP is looking for a positive, energetic and resourceful team member with outstanding communication and organizational skills to help develop and manage social media content for our suite of clients. Ideal candidates for this role will have experience with social media development and execution, along with proven ability to work as part of a high-performing team.
Essential Duties:
- Develop long-term and day-to-day content strategy.
- Work closely with both the design and marketing teams to facilitate brainstorms and develop content that is engaging and consistent across all platforms, and ensure deadlines are met.
- Create content strategies in line with client goals. Target content to specific audiences and look for content that is in demand.
- Create and maintain editorial calendar by scheduling due dates and tracking content through the editorial process.
Additional Duties
- Produce and manage photographic and video content.
- Conduct research to enhance content, identify relevant or trending topics, fact-check, and analyze sources to generate information.
- Write and edit content to maintain an appropriate tone in messaging, adhere to style guide, and check for errors in grammar, punctuation, and style.
- Conduct content audits, to include qualitative analyses of all the content on a network of sites and social media accounts.
- Monitor consumer and content metrics, and provide reports on content performance as applicable.
Required Qualifications
- 2-3+ years of relevant experience in social media content management. In-house (internal marketing) or agency experience is preferred.
- Strong writing and communication skills.
- Demonstrated passion for exploring new tools, techniques and technologies to create compelling content and experiences for target audiences.
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or related field preferred.
