Overview

As a member of a survey crew, this internship provides support for the successful completion of projects under the direction of the Party Chief and Instrument Operator.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor of Science Degree in Surveying, Geospatial or Civil Engineering.

• Ability to effectively communicate with all level of employees within an organization, both verbal and written.

• Ability to follow directions from supervisor as well as other members of engineering staff and management team.

• Ability to identify and use various types of survey equipment.

• Ability to work continually outside in all types of weather conditions and terrain.

• Ability to carry and lift up to 35 lbs. on a consistent basis- daily task includes carrying various types of survey equipment such as tripod, prism, rod; hand and power tools and buckets with supplies.

• Must be able to work between the hours of 6 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday; occasional overtime.

• Must be reliable and dependable.
