SWBC is seeking a talented individual to research, review, and update pertinent insurance data into computer systems to reflect the most current information; make payments to insurance companies to ensure client's interests are protected; make outbound calls to clarify information; research the automated matching system; and make corrections to the system updates and/or payments.

Essential duties include the following:

  • Enters, edits, or modifies pertinent insurance data into AS/400, MSP, FiServ, Citrix, or other client systems while comparing data entered with source documents and in a timely manner ensuring accuracy, completeness, and adherence to department procedures.

  • Reviews and researches insurance updates for determination of meeting compliance guidelines or requirements pertaining to FEMA and NFIP for Flood Adequacy, Private Investors or Client Specific, or FreddieMac and FannieMae.

  • Determines if a document can be used to update or comment a loan.

  • Makes necessary adjustments to insurance lines based on data found on reports, documents, or notes on AS/400 history.

  • Researches and validates HO6 tracking and makes decisions on when required or not for loans reviewed.

  • Reviews for data integrity any and all updates made on Condominium policies.

  • Performs in-line QC on updates made to Condominium loans.

  • Performs full updates and research of Condominium projects within the condo database.

  • Verifies screen format to detect errors and proof reads new entries in database for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to department procedures.

  • Performs data processing/customer service functions in support of the SWBC Escrow Tracking Program.

  • Reviews full Condominium policies to meet specific regulatory guidelines.

  • Resolves escrow disbursement discrepancies by researching the loan and making outbound calls to the insurance agency/company to obtain required information in order to make timely and accurate updates and insurance payments to loan files.

Serious candidates will possess the minimum qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalency.

  • Minimum two (2) years data entry, data validation, customer service, or related experience in the Mortgage insurance industry.

  • Experience associated with Condominium Associations preferred.

  • Basic understanding of mortgage escrow accounts or homeowners insurance.

  • Strong orientation to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in processing insurance information and detecting discrepancies.

  • Proficient mathematical skills to calculate and/or validate insurance coverage amounts.

  • Strong organizational, customer service, and communication (verbal and written) skills.

  • Strong computer and keyboard skills which include MS Word and Excel, ten-key number pad or calculator by touch, and exposure to systems and database applications such as AS/400, MSP, FiServ, or Citrix.

  • Able to operate common office equipment including copy machine, scanner, and all appropriate printers.

  • Knowledge of FEMA, NFIP, FreddieMac, and FannieMae compliance requirements preferred.

  • Able to willingness to participate in training and development to obtain, improve, or maintain job knowledge.

  • Able to sit for long periods of time while validating/entering data, or performing other sedentary duties.

  • Able to lift 10-20 lbs. of reports or other documents.
