Digital Marketing Director

SWBC is seeking a talented individual to be pivotal in leading a team of digital marketers and data analysts responsible for the strategy and execution of high-impact marketing activities to generate a pipeline of quality leads for our sales divisions. You will be a critical strategic lead and marketing team member working collaboratively with the brand & program management, communications, content, social media, and multimedia functions. You will work with our business divisions to develop strategies and optimize multi-channel campaigns that deliver high-quality leads, drive customer acquisition, and increase Annual Recurring Revenue. You must be passionate about creating and implementing effective programs that identify, attract, engage, and convert prospects to clients.
Essential duties include the following:
- Develops multi-channel campaigns that include email marketing, content marketing, paid advertising, SEO/SEM, social media, webinars, events, and other demand generation tactics focused on generating high-quality leads and revenue in new and existing markets.
- Creates familiarity of SWBC through online channels that build a greater understanding of the breadth of our product and services we offer.
- Advocates for and evolve the online customer journey, inclusive of all interactions with our brand, including the website, mobile apps, chat bots, social media, and other channels where the touchpoint is virtual.
- Manages a talented group of demand generation professionals, inclusive of digital marketing and data analysts, including training, mentoring, guidance, and support. Foster a collaborative and results-driven culture within the team.
- Utilizes marketing automation platforms, CRM systems, and other marketing technologies to optimize demand generation efforts. Implement lead scoring and nurturing programs to increase conversion rates and accelerate the sales cycle.
- Continuously monitors, analyzes, and reports on key performance metrics, such as lead conversion rates, cost per lead, customer acquisition costs, and ROI. Use data-driven insights to optimize campaigns, improve targeting, and maximize marketing effectiveness.
- Collaborates with marketing functions, product, sales, and business division teams to ensure alignment of demand generation activities with overall business objectives. Work closely with the sales team to optimize lead handoff processes and provide seamless integration between marketing and sales efforts.
- Keeps abreast of the latest trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in demand generation and digital marketing. Identify opportunities for innovation and differentiation to maintain a competitive edge in the market.
Serious candidates will possess the minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Advertising, or a related field from an accredited four-year college or university is required.
- Minimum of seven (7) years of marketing campaign experience is required, including specialization and focus on digital advertising, display marketing, web marketing, workflow nurturing, inbound marketing practices, lead scoring, campaign measurement, and marketing automation.
- Advanced knowledge of digital marketing that includes inbound marketing workflow and database marketing skills.
- Strong proficiency in digital marketing tools (Hubspot, Semrush, Salesforce, Google Analytics and Search Console, and more).
- Financial Services experience preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office skills, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Able to use essential office equipment, including copy machine, personal computer, and fax.
- Able to type 40 WPM.
- Able to travel locally or nationally by car or plane.
- Able to sit for long periods of time performing sedentary activities.
- Able to stand, stoop, and kneel to file for long periods of time.
- Able to push, pull, and lift up to 20 lbs. of files, supplies, documents, or other related items.
