Boeing Global Services, Consumables & Expendables (C&E) Distribution Business is looking for a Customer Quality Engineer (f/m/d) for the Henstedt-Ulzburg, GER facility.
Position Summary:
In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring customer quality metrics are met or exceeded to maintain preferred supplier status. You will lead customer quality reviews and collaborate with internal and external teams to drive root cause corrective actions and address non-conforming events. Additionally, you will oversee RMA processes and develop quality plans to support customer product requirements.
Position Responsibilities:
Responsible for meeting/exceeding customer quality metrics to ensure customer preferred supplier status.
Conducts customer quality reviews with customers and internal BDSI organization.
Leads technical calls with suppliers
Works in collaboration internally with supply chain and externally with the customer on supplier management work transfer process
Drives root cause corrective actions (RCCA) with customers, suppliers and internal BDSI organization.
Works to address non-conforming events
Works with customers on RMA products and submits documents for MRB approval.
Writes quality plans for customer products.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
2 - 4 years of related work experience or equivalent combination of formal education, on-the-job training, and/or work experience.
1+ years of experience with execution of root cause corrective actions (RCCA)
Intermediate or higher proficiency working with Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Excel)
Fluent in English on a highly technical and professional level.
Business fluent proficiency of German
Solid experience with common ERP systems with SAP being highly preferred.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Bachelor’s Degree – Engineering or related field of study
Profound experience working in a customer-facing role.
Six Sigma certification
Previous Aerospace experience
