RK Emergency Management Support is a specialized service company operating to rapidly field and operate provisional life support facilities that sustain relocated and displaced people, as well as those responding to and facilitating recovery following natural disasters and civil disruptions. We provide sustenance and shelter operations, specializing in temporary food services, structures, and facility support services supporting community recovery in times of need, as well as for military readiness maneuvers and training.

Job Summary

We are looking for a results-driven business development professional with hands-on emergency response experience. This role is ideal for someone who understands the urgency, complexity, and pressure of disaster response and contingency operations—and who is motivated to turn that experience into revenue growth.

If you’ve worked in disaster response, emergency logistics, basecamp operations, or large-scale mobilizations and want to leverage that knowledge on the sales and pricing side, this role was built for you.

Responsibilities:

Develop and close new business within emergency response, disaster relief, and contingency operations
Manage and expand relationships with government, utility, and private-sector response clients
Attend disaster response conferences, tradeshows, and industry events
Build accurate, competitive pricing for:
Emergency basecamps
Foodservice and catering operations
Workforce housing and support services
Source, coordinate, and manage vendors to support rapid-response pricing and proposals
Partner with operations teams to ensure pricing aligns with real-world execution
Support proposals, RFPs, and urgent response bids under tight timelines
Step in where needed—this is a team-first, mission-focused environment

Qualifications

Background in emergency response, disaster relief, contingency operations, military, utilities, or large-scale incident management
Experience with basecamp operations, logistics, foodservice, or workforce support services
Strong understanding of pricing, cost modeling, and vendor coordination
Sales-driven mindset with a hunger to win work during high-pressure response situations
Comfortable working fast, making decisions, and adapting to changing conditions
Strong communicator who can build trust with clients during critical situations
Willing to travel as needed for incidents, client meetings, and industry events
