The Admission Guest Services Associate, will be primarily responsible for providing exceptional service to visitors and patients,
offering information and assistance, and ensuring the efficient and comfortable movement of patients within the facility.


  • Ability to rotate roles between Concierge, Information desk, and Patient escort.
  • Commitment to excellent customer service, ensuring a positive patient and family experience.
  • Understanding of the hospital layout, including key departments, diagnostic areas, and patient rooms.
  • Capability to remain calm and composed under pressure, providing reliability and efficiency even in stressful situations.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Customer service skills with a focus on empathy and patience
  • Physical ability to handle and maneuver transport equipment.
  • Bilingual preferred, but not required

Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required

Experiences:

  • 1-2 years Previous experience in patient access, hotel, restaurant, retail, or customer service experience required.

  • Welcome patients, families, and visitors as they enter the hospital, providing a warm and professional first impression.
  • Assist with directions to various departments, clinics, or patient rooms, and escort guests when necessary.
  • Use hospital management software to track and manage patient and visitor requests.
  • Assist patients and visitors using hospital apps, online services, and digital check-in systems.
  • Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries.
  • Perform lobby rounding to ensure the lobby and waiting room area are clean, safe, and comfortable for patients, family,
    and visitors.
  • Coordinate with security and medical personnel during emergencies.
  • Safely transport patients from the admissions area to their assigned rooms, diagnostic testing areas, or treatment
    facilities within the hospital.
  • Utilize hospital elevators efficiently while transporting patients to minimize wait times and ensure smooth transitions.
  • Ensure patients’ personal belongings are transported and safely delivered to their designated area.
  • Confirm patient identity and destination before transport, ensuring accurate and safe transfer.
  • Report any incidents, accidents, or safety concerns to the appropriate personnel promptly.
  • Ensure all transport equipment is clean, sanitized, and stored properly after each use.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
